Ivan "Dev1" Lazarov is one of the most prominent figures on the Czech-Slovak gaming scene. He professionally works as a Software Localization Engineer at ESET, but his life has been closely linked with Counter-Strike since childhood. His gaming story began in 1999 at Istropolis in Bratislava, where he first experienced the atmosphere of gaming arcades and quickly made a name for himself. He gradually moved through the teams RedWarriors, 5Shits, and FU.sk, with which he dominated the domestic scene in 2005 and 2006, winning the title of Czech Republic champion three times at the prestigious INVEX Cup. His performances matched the European elite, and he was declared the best CZ/SK player twice in a row. After ending his active career in 2009, he took a break, but his return came with the rise of streaming platforms, where he became one of the biggest personalities. Today, Dev1 is known as a streamer, commentator, and the face of domestic Counter-Strike tournaments – he has been regularly commentating the final matches of the MČR since 2014. In addition, he is the founder of the DEV1S brand and in his free time, he enjoys traveling and exploring the world.
